I'll Have What She's Having
Role: Creative Producer
When: Jan - Aug 2018
Where: Assembly George Square Studios, Studio 4
What: Following a successful research and development run at Camden People's Theatre, the artists approached me for help with producing the show further to take it to a reputable venue at Edinburgh Fringe. I worked closely with Jess & Victoria in drafting venue applications and helping them realise this ambition. My role involved devising and running a successful crowdfunding campaign that raised almost double the initial target, devising and delivering a successful marketing & PR strategy, monitoring ticket sales and budgets closely, and elements of production coordination.
About:
I’ll Have What She’s Having is an autobiographical show about Jess & Victoria's experiences of career, relationships and motherhood as viewed through the perspective of another person. The show is a devised comedy that uses sketch, dance and monologue to explore why women feel the need to filter their lives for other people; to be happier, wealthier, thinner and prettier than they really feel. It’s fun, it’s raw, it’s honest and it’s part of a conversation that, today, is more relevant than ever.
